Overview
Liberon Teak Oil with UV is a blend of pure quality tung oil and linseed oil, ideal for use on exterior and interior wood. It produces a hard-wearing, satin finish which nourishes, protects, and enhances the natural beauty of hard, exotic, and oily woods. This includes teak, rosewood, and iroko the added UV filters also make it ideal for use on garden furniture.

Preparation
Ensure the area to be treated is clean dry and free from dust. Ensure the wood surface is bare, remove any wax finishes with and any varnish finishes with .
Application
Before applying the product test a small area on the surface to be oiled to ensure you are happy with your results.
- Apply using a brush or lint-free cloth.
- Apply in the direction of the wood grain.
- Allow the oil to penetrate for up to 15 minutes.
- Wipe off any excess with a clean (Failure to do so will prevent penetration of future coats and leave a sticky surface).
- Allow to dry for 24 hours.
- Apply further coats as above the number of coats needed will depend on how dry or damaged the wood is.
- Apply a minimum of three coats on exterior surfaces.
- For best results, gently rub with or extra fine abrasive paper between coats.
- Allow to fully dry before use.
Note: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.
Aftercare & Storage
Cleaning
Surfaces may be cleaned using a damp cloth and all spills must be wiped up immediately to ensure the longevity of the finish. Stubborn stains may be cleaned with a mild detergent.
Maintenance
Surfaces need to be re-oiled once a year or more, depending on usage. Exterior timber may require more maintenance, reapplying once or twice a year will help maintain protection.
